Our love for German Shepherds

Fosters & Rescues

As part of our ethical breeding commitment and dedication to reducing shelter overflow, we always take back our puppies—no questions asked. Between litters, and when not preparing for travel or upcoming breedings, we leverage our network to help foster and rehome German Shepherds in need.

Meet our Fosters

Waylon

Blossom

Blossom

Waylon comes from an accidental litter of two amazing parents! Waylon holds a special place in our hearts and is now proudly in his forever home with Emma visiting him weekly. He is a bold, highly vocal, strong-minded yet affectionate boy, embodying the classic attributes of a true German Shepherd, with his Husky roots shining through in both his expressive “talking” and personality. A devoted mama’s boy through and through, Waylon thrives on affection and loves having not one—but two—moms.

Blossom

Blossom

Blossom

Blossom was found on the southwest side of San Antonio on a rural property with her suspected littermates—no mother, no protection, and no humans looking out for her. It’s likely she had little to no positive human interaction early in life. What we do know is that she had exposure to a man and carries clear signs of fear consistent with past abuse.

Because of this, Blossom is deeply timid and easily overwhelmed. When she’s scared, she shuts down fast. But that fear is not who she is—it’s what happened to her. And it would be a mistake to let it define her future.

When Blossom met Emma, something changed. She opened up in a way we had never seen—becoming affectionate, attentive, playful, and wonderfully silly. She loves to play, to be chased, and to connect once she feels safe. Through patience, love, and consistent kindness, Blossom learned how to trust humans for the first time.

Blossom is believed to be a German Shepherd mix, though her intensity, wild spirit, and extremely high drive strongly suggest Malinois influence. She is not a dog for everyone—but for the right person, she is everything. Loyal, sensitive, driven, and resilient. A dog who survived, learned to trust again, and is still choosing love.

Our Rescues

Rory

Rogue

Rogue

Rory was a gift we did not fully understand at first—but she became the very foundation of why ethical breeding matters. She was a purebred liver German Shepherd, bred exclusively for color. She was breathtakingly beautiful, with rare and striking pigmentation—but that beauty came at a devastating cost.

In color-focused breeding, health and temperament are often compromised. Liver Shepherds are exceptionally difficult to produce responsibly, and in Rory’s case, stability was never part of the genetic equation. From an early age, she displayed severe aggression and reactivity. We refused to give up on her. We sought answers relentlessly—working with multiple top trainers in the field, consulting our veterinarian, pursuing behavioral medication, and reaching out to some of the most respected experts in the world, including Robert Cabral.

Despite exhaustive intervention, Rory’s condition continued to escalate. After repeated attacks on her owner, Emma, and a final incident that nearly cost Emma her life, we were forced to confront an unbearable truth: Rory was not safe, and she was not well. Her genetics had failed her, and no amount of love, training, or expertise could undo that damage.

Choosing to let Rory go was the hardest decision we have ever made—but it was made out of responsibility, not convenience. Rory is deeply loved, forever cherished, and never forgotten. Her life—and her loss—are the reason we stand firmly for ethical breeding. She is our reminder that breeding is not about color, rarity, or trend, but about protecting lives, preserving temperament, and honoring the dogs who trust us with everything.

Rogue

Rogue

Rogue

Rogue is pure sass and attitude wrapped in the face of an angel. A wild child at heart, she is also one of the most loving and affectionate dogs we’ve ever known. From the moment I met her, it was clear she was destined to be part of our family.

She spends her days playing endlessly with Mattis Jr. and cuddling with Aurora Jr., bringing energy, joy, and balance to our pack. Her bold personality shines through in every interaction, yet she remains a nurturing, affectionate presence—helping entertain puppies and teaching them social skills. Rogue proves that a spirited dog can also be a devoted, loving companion, and she enriches our program in every way.

Creed

Rogue

Creed

Creed is a gentle, sweet, and calm boy—Rogue’s littermate—boasting stunning colors and a beautiful temperament to match. A true mama’s boy, he is quiet and observant, but when he speaks, you know he means business. Creed is loving, caring, and kind, and he adores playing and socializing with our adult males. His combination of calm confidence and affectionate nature makes him a remarkable member of our pack.

Disclaimer

We do not breed any of our rescues or fosters. From the moment they arrive, every dog is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, and placed in a mandatory two-week quarantine before joining our pack. We take every precaution to ensure safety, including strict separation when a bitch is in heat.

Our fostering and rescue work comes from a deep love for the breed and a belief that every dog deserves a chance at a better life. As an approved foster partner with San Antonio Animal Care Services, we are committed to providing structure, care, and training to help these dogs thrive. With the network of loving homes we have available, it would be nothing short of unethical not to give them that opportunity. By opening our doors, we are not just saving lives—we are setting a standard for compassion and responsibility in the breeding community.
